Tried on my vista laptop to instal msn, but told it would not load old version of msn, need local administrator. can you plz help me with this. cheers.

I cannot get into my e-mail. I get the message that I am on an old version of msn messenger and need to sign in as local administrator. How? Where? The e-mail screen is blank and freezes.
