Update: Read How to install Windows Media Player 11 Final bypassing WGA validation.
Want to tryout the Windows Media Player 11 beta? Installing WMP 11 goes through validation of your Windows XP licence.
Here is how you can install Windows Media Player 11 bypassing the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation (WGA).
Step 1:
Download Windows Media Player 11 directly from Microsoft.
Download from here.
Step 2:
EXTRACT the mpsetup.exe to a NEW FOLDER
You can use WinRAR to extract the files.
Step 3:
Replace legitlib.dll in this folder with the one from here:
Download cracked legitlib.dll
Step 4:
Run setup_wm.exe

download the trial version of winRAR its very much enough to do the above crack,
download it from winrarlab.com perhaps, try in google lah

It doesn’t work at all also after copying the legitLibM.dll file with the original one. The validation process cancels but when it starts to migrate, a messege appears that Windows Update requires. So its true that it does not work at all.

I Did this too,
Go to Registry Editor,
And Search “WMP11″
And Delete everything u find, but u take a whole registry back up first.
after that follow the way, i have mentioned.

Try to download the wmp11 bypass wga using 7-zip
to extract the appropriate files throughout all
the steps. works to a certain extent because right now i don’t have the same error message
cropping up when i try to open the wmp11 software
except that: MICROSOFT WINDOWS STILL WANT TO
VALIDATE THAT THE COPY OF WINDOW SOFTWARE IS
LEGIT. Can’t seem to get around that bypass, thanks anyway it’s a good solution but not entire.

hey i got the solution,
guys, if anybody got problem, that damaged windows media player 11 Installation. or Getting some dll missing when the WMP associate file play Do this;
[1]Download WMP11 from here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/e/e/eeeb2d1e-8000-4f23-b770-ddb34a9c8f45/wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe
[2]Download this File from here:
http://www.uploading.com/files/8810NQ2R/LegitLibM.zip.html
[3]Use winRAR to Extract the WMP11 to a folder
[4]Extract and copy the file LegitLibM.dll to the WMP11 Folder (step 3rd u extracted place)
[5]you will asked to replace with 401Kb file instead of 400KB
[6]Now Run the Setup_wm.exe
[7]Enjoy :)>-
I was keep trying by my self to recover and install WMP11, finaly this method work out.
the above process can be workout sometime, if its happend, let me know, ill give the other process with registry edit

Hi, I was looking this method for long time but finally i just try to install without cracking.
finally wmp11 half installed in system and can not uninstall or reinstall either,
is there any way to bypass the validation check and complete the installation, please give us information,
