Error 80048820: MSN Error Code 80048820 Fix

Are you getting the error code 80048820 when trying to sign-in to your msn messenger or windows live messenger?

The error msg goes like:
We were unable to sign you into Windows Live Messenger at this time.
Please try again later.

Error code: 80048820
Extended error code: 80048439

Here is how to solve it.

Step 1:

Go to Start > Run

Step 2:

Type the followining in the Run dialogue box:

regsvr32 softpub.dll Wintrust.dll Initpki.dll Rsaenh.dll Mssip32.dll Cryptdlg.dll

And click OK.

Step 3:

Again type the followining in the Run dialogue box:

regsvr32 Dssenh.dll Gpkcsp.dll Slbcsp.dll Sccbase.dll

And click OK.

You should now be able to sign-in to your msn messemger or windows live messenger.

Regsrv32 is a command-line tool registers .dll files as command components in the registry. More information on the Regsrv32 command can be found here.

   I set my clock right… But still no use.. Whatever solutions that was given here.. It was no use.. Haiz..

   Hi,
   Those commands didn’t work for me, i can’t login any of the email account like yahoo, msn, singnet and etc, i trying updating the time in the the time sychronisation, it appear to have error while window synchronising with the time.windows.com. & i also try to turn off firewall, which is in vain.. i really need to have my emails & msn.. can anyone assist me.. thank alot in advance…
   Can post any other solutions through here.? thanks.

   All you got to do for error: 80048820 is set up your clock to the right time and date and it’ll go right in. LOL funny huhh Thanks guys

    (I had to laugh at the above instructions)
    It took me a while to figure out, but this is what you do:

    -Step 1-
    SET YOUR CLOCK TO THE CORRECT DATE

    -Step 2-
    Sign in to MSN meesenger
