Dawgs Domain has created a tool which will retrive your lost Windows Live Messenger password. A great tool if you have forgotten your password and dont wanna go through or cannot retrive it though the microsoft .net passport password recovery process. Many times we do signup using fake address, zip, birth date.... And some ppl are just too lazy to go through the process.
The author claims it has been legitimately made for people that forget their password and not to used to hack your friends msn password. ;)

Are you getting the error code 8100030d when trying to sign-in to your msn messenger or windows live messenger?
You can try the following:
Step 1:
Go to Start > Run
Step 2:
Type the followining in the Run dialogue box:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
And click OK.
Step 3:
Again type the followining in the Run dialogue box:
regsvr32 Dssenh.dll Gpkcsp.dll Slbcsp.dll Sccbase.dll
And click OK.
You should now be able to sign-in to your msn messemger or windows live messenger.
Regsrv32 is a command-line tool registers .dll files as command components in the registry. More information on the Regsrv32 command can be found here.

Are you getting the error code 8100030e when trying to sign-in to your msn messenger or windows live messenger?
You can try the following:
Step 1:
Go to Start > Run
Step 2:
Type the followining in the Run dialogue box:
regsvr32 Softpub.dll Mssip32.dll Initpki.dll
And click OK.
You should now be able to sign-in to your msn messemger or windows live messenger.

Even though Skype has not yet announced any client for Symbian OS Mobile phones (they only offer clients for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile), Fring has released a client which will allow you to have Skype on your Symbian Mobile.

Are you getting the error code 80048820 when trying to sign-in to your msn messenger or windows live messenger?
The error msg goes like:
We were unable to sign you into Windows Live Messenger at this time.
Please try again later.
Error code: 80048820
Extended error code: 80048439
Here is how to solve it.
Step 1:
Go to Start > Run
Step 2:
Type the followining in the Run dialogue box:
regsvr32 softpub.dll Wintrust.dll Initpki.dll Rsaenh.dll Mssip32.dll Cryptdlg.dll
And click OK.
Step 3:
Again type the followining in the Run dialogue box:
regsvr32 Dssenh.dll Gpkcsp.dll Slbcsp.dll Sccbase.dll
And click OK.
You should now be able to sign-in to your msn messemger or windows live messenger.

Getting error code 81000306 while trying to sign-in on MSN Messenger or Windows Live Messenger?

To solve the error follow the following steps:
1. Go to Start > Run
2. Type the following:

3. Click on the OK button.
You should now be able to sign-in to your msn messemger or windows live messenger.

It was nice to see Microsoft sharing a portion of their Windows Live Messenger advertising revenue with some of the world’s most effective organizations dedicated to social causes.
But but but.... is it ALL about ONLY charity?
You should have noticed that to participate in this charity you must have Windows Live Messenger 8.1.
Why is it? Why not with the old MSN Messenger? Doesnt it raise eyebrows?

You cannot use Windows Live Messenger at this time becasue your contact list is not available. Please try again later.
Click help to learn about your contact list.
Error Code: 81000378
Here is how to solve it:
Open windows host file with Notepad: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
Add these 2 lines to the bottom:
65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net
Save it and restart msn
Please do remember to remove these lines when the msn service gets back to normal.
