msn i’m – all about charity?

It was nice to see Microsoft sharing a portion of their Windows Live Messenger advertising revenue with some of the world’s most effective organizations dedicated to social causes. But but but.... is it ALL about ONLY charity? You should have noticed that to participate in this charity you must have Windows Live Messenger 8.1. Why is it? Why not with the old MSN Messenger?
