Microsoft and Yahoo connect IM services

Nine months after announcing they would make their instant messaging services interoperate, Yahoo and Microsoft have done it. The companies are set to release on Thursday a limited beta test of a service that will enable users of Windows Live Messenger (the next generation of MSN Messenger) and Yahoo Messenger with Voice to connect with each other. The move creates a global community of nearly 350 million accounts, the companies said. The beta service is being launched globally in 15 localized languages. did u chk out the beta releases on Internet Explorer 7 and MSN Live Messenger 8? IE 7 felt like a clone on FireFox. in 1st run i thought i ran firefox by mistake! and on MSN 8... if looked so much like the new yahoo... even the offline msg feature has been added well... m not complaining.... its always nice to have new features added.. dropped out fearures added. 1 ll alway want to make "everything available in others" available in his own. but 1 thing.... microsoft aint giving the LEAD... its pretty much FOLLOWING well... dats all my own point of view (read more)
