1. Reregister msxml3.dll. To do so follow the steps below that are applicable to your operating system version:<\/p>\n
1.a.Windows Vista<\/strong>: 1.b. Windows XP<\/strong>: 2. Reinstall MSXML3. To do so follow the steps below: 3. Restart the computer, and then sign in to Messenger again.<\/p>\n
\n1.a.i. Click “Start,” click “All Programs,” click “Accessories,” and then right-click “Command Prompt.”
\n1.a.ii. Click “Run as administrator.”
\n1.a.iii. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password or click “Continue.”
\n1.a.iv. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
\n REGSVR32 %windir%\\system32\\msxml3.dll
\n1.a.v. If the file can be located and is available, you receive the following message:
\n DllRegisterServer succeeded in C:\\Windows\\System32\\msxml3.dll is succeeded.
\n1.a.vi. If this step is not successful, go to step 2.
\n1.a.vii. If this step succeeds, go to step 3.<\/p>\n
\n1.b.i. Click “Start,” click “Run,” type the following command, and then click “OK”:
