Windows Live Messenger is basically in Beta stage and only available to legal beta testers.
Unlike previous once you cant just grab a copy and install. This one give access on per account basis. So if your id or passport is not authorized as beta tester by Microsoft, you cant use it.
However ppl did make their way with it ;) They made a proxy to bypass this part of authentication.
Anyways... here is wht u need and do to try out the WLM ( Windows Live Messenger )
1. Download Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0365 BETA

2. Download LiveConnect v4

Now install both of them.

If you are not an official beta tester or dont have an invite you will also need to install LiveConnect V4 from here:
http://www.filelodge.com/files/hdd4/61968/LiveConnect%20v4.zip
It will bypass your connection.
