Windows Live Messenger is basically in Beta stage and only available to legal beta testers.

Unlike previous once you cant just grab a copy and install. This one give access on per account basis. So if your id or passport is not authorized as beta tester by Microsoft, you cant use it.

However ppl did make their way with it ;) They made a proxy to bypass this part of authentication.

Anyways… here is wht u need and do to try out the WLM ( Windows Live Messenger )

1. Download Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0365 BETA

2. Download LiveConnect v4

Now install both of them.

Read out the HOW TO that came with the LiveConnect. It describes everything in detail.
And if you dont have the time… simply click on the “Windows Live Messenger” shortcut on your desktop.

NOTE: Click on the Windows Live Messenger shortcut NOT the Messenger Beta shortcut.

If you dont see a shortcut, run “C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\LiveConnect.exe”. And make a shortcut of it for quick use.

Optionally you can also install APatch for WLM 8.0.0365

It will allow you to enable/disable/add some features.
