Are you having problem loading Gmail on Internet Explorer 7? After showing the "Loading..." screen for a while IE7 throwing you the error:
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://mail.google.com/mail/.
Operation aborted
I have been experiencing the issue since yesterday. Here is how i solved it:
1. Click on "Tools > Delete Browsing History..."
2. "Delete Internet History" dialogue box will come up.
Click on the "Delete Files..." button next to "Temporary Internet Files"
3. Click "Yes" to confirm the operation.
Internet Explorer 7 will take some time to delete the files.
Once done, refresh the page (or better close and reopen the browser) and Gmail should load ...

Microsoft has finally released the Internet Explorer 7 Final (IE7 Final). If you own a licenced copy of windows, you can download and install ie7 directly visiting microsoft ie7 website here.
But if your copy is not original you will have to bypass the Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA). Here is how to crack Internet Explorer 7 Final (IE7 Final) and install IE7 without validation:
Step 1:
Download Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Final.
Get if from FileHippo.
Step 2:
Uninstall any previous version of Internet Explorer 7.
Go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs

UPDATE: Install Internet Explorer 7 Final bypassing WGA validation
Dont own a genuing copy of Windows XP? Still want to install Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 (Internet Explorer 7 Build 5299 or Beta 2 Preview)
Here is how you can install it bypassing the validation.
Step 1: Download Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2.
You can download it from:
FileHippo (my copy)
RapidShare
Turbo Upload
Step 2: Extract the contents of IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe using WinRAR or PowerArchiver.
Step 3: Browse to the update folder of your extracted files.
Step 4: Download a patched copy of iecustom.dll
Step 5: Run update.exe, NOT iesetup.exe
