While facebook is still blocked in (Digital) Bangladesh, I came across another VPN provider USA IP which allows free trial/demo VPN accounts.
The demo access is unlimited in time but you are required to reconnect after every 7 minutes. But that should work fine to have "emergency" access on facebook till the block gets removed.
To access the VPN service please follow these instructions:
1. Download USAIP.pbk from here and save the file to your desktop.
2. Double click on the USAIP.pbk file on your desktop.

As you should already know, Bangladesh Government has recently blocked facebook in Bangladesh. It's being almost 24hrs and the site is still blocked.
Though we do not know how long the block will last, I expect it to get removed in a few days.
But I have found an excellent resource which can allow you to access facebook in Bangladesh for 3 days. Of course, for FREE!
There is an excellent VPN provider Unblock VPN (I am going to write a review of their service shortly). They are offering free 3 days trial accounts which can allow us to access facebook from Bangladesh.

As you should already know, (Digital) Bangladesh Government has blocked facebook since yesterday.
But you can still access facebook using a proxy site like FacebookProxy.us.
There are many other proxy sites around which will do the work too. Some are: facebookproxy.co.uk, facebookproxy.net, unblock-facebook.net etc.
How to use it?
Just go to the facebook proxy site and scroll down to the section where you are asked to enter an URL (web address).
Type in the URL as "http://www.facebook.com" and click on the "Go" button.
The facebook page will now open in a frame.
You now access the facebook site as you would do normally :)

After blocking YouTube the (Digital) Bangladesh Government blocks Facebook!
Reason? "...Ban follows arrest of man over 'cartoon' of Hasina, Khaleda"
Update: Faceboook is STILL blocked it Bangladesh. Please raise your voice to unblock facebook.
While facebook remains blocked in Bangladesh, you can still use a proxy site like FacebookProxy.us to access facebook.

Bangladesh has introduced Daylight Saving Time (DST) for 2009, starts on June 19th at 11:00.
But you might have noticed that windows only allows you to make DST adjustments only on time zones where DST is available. And unfortunately that is not available on the "(GMT+06:00) Astana, Dhaka" time zone which we use.
This DST Fix will create another time zone as "(GMT+06:00) Dhaka" with the option to adjust DST.
Download and install the Bangladesh DST Fix/Patch from here:

After installation go to the time settings and go to the "Time Zone" tab. Now you will find "(GMT+06:00) Dhaka" just bellow the ...
